Dr Punukollu is proud to be part of a family of psychiatrists. His father was Medical Director at Barnsley General Hospital and an inspirational national leader in the field. His sister is a Child Psychiatrist and Lecturer in Glasgow.

Following in the tradition, Dr Punukollu has dedicated his life to the speciality.

The Chinese symbol above represents hope and opportunity during challenging times. Dr Punukollu believes in working with patients to get the best possible outcomes for them by engendering positive change through a proactive and encouraging approach.

Dr Punukollu regularly receives positive feedback from his patients who say he listens to them, gets to grips with their difficulties and that he has a fantastic knowledge of the subject with the ability to get them better.
